About How Are You Oxfordshire
How Are You Oxfordshire (HAY Oxfordshire) is a social prescribing directory helping people across the county find activities, support and community services that improve their health and wellbeing.
What is social prescribing?
Social prescribing connects people to non-clinical support in their community — things like walking groups, arts projects, debt advice, or volunteering. It recognises that health is influenced by a wide range of social, economic and environmental factors.
GPs, nurses and other primary care professionals can refer patients directly to a link worker who will work with them to find the right activities or services.
